A manufacturer of boat engines filed a suit for breach of warranty against a supplier whose cables failed at an alarming rate and which had to be replaced at substantial cost to the manufacturer. To “anchor” the jury’s minds in the underlying cause of this action, I was tasked to draw cutaways of the cables in a variety of configurations. Each was detailed enough to be easily understood and memorable, mitigating any distraction or confusion that photos of the damaged components might have elicited.
